Our custom menu design helps you create a menu that will represent your personal tastes. Over the years we have catered to hundreds of brides, political heavy weights, large and small corporations and have provided a wide variety of services – from elegant sit down meals at historic venues to your everyday backyard barbecue.
Located in Owings, Maryland, our roots can be found in the country cooking style of Owner David Benson’s grandmother. Spending a great deal of time on Maryland’s Eastern Shore on the Choptank River, David was exposed to grandma’s home-cooked meals which were made with only the freshest ingredients many of which were grown or raised on the farm. The table was always overflowing with food, as you never knew who might stop in unannounced. David used this knowledge and this philosophy when he began his business and continues to use it today.
Founded in the summer of 1988, the first few years we provided our services to Maryland’s Southern Peninsula along the Chesapeake Bay. As we grew calls came in from all around the Baltimore/Washington area as well as Virginia, Annapolis and the Eastern Shore. The company was started with 2 full time employees with a subleased kitchen and today has expanded to 12 full time employees and several dozen part time staff. Throughout 15 years of business, the kitchen and warehouse facilities have been expanded three times their original size.
From those roots came a love for food and making people happy. Working under great chefs & managers in some of the finest hotels, restaurants and country clubs, we gained knowledge that helped form the foundation for the level of service and quality of food that our client’s have come to enjoy and expect.
